Generac Air-Cooled 3-Day Course Field

Air-cooled class (3-day) is the prerequisite for the Protector Series course. This class allows a technician who is assigned to an appropriate service dealer to perform warranty repairs on all Air-Cooled products (OPE and HSB).  Approximately 6 Hrs. Classroom, 18 Hrs. Lab and 6 Hrs. Nightly Assignments.

Classes run promptly at 8:00am to 5:00pm at 2443 Durham Road, Bristol PA 19007

  • Generator Fundamentals
  • Use and understanding of schematics & wiring diagrams
  • Engine and generator controls (Evolution/Nexus), fuel systems, maintenance, basic installation guidelines
  • Alternator operation and testing
  • Engine operation, familiarization and testing
  • Battery, starter and charging system fundamentals and testing
  • Transfer switches familiarization and testing Installation and application information
  • Hands On Troubleshooting of complete operating system
  • Complete unit tear down and rebuild

Generac Protector Series 4.5 Day Course Field

This class is a 4.5-day course on non-configured, Evolution/Nexus controlled, liquid-cooled Res/Com product. This class allows a technician who is assigned to an appropriate service dealer to perform warranty repairs on the Protector Series Gaseous and Diesel product. This course covers all new product and is also a Protector Series up-date course. The 3-Day Air-Cooled Course is the prerequisite for the Protector Series course. 

Classes run promptly at 8:00am to 5:00pm at 2443 Durham Road, Bristol PA 19007.

DISCLAIMER: Course Fees: Fees include instruction, program materials and lunch.

Miscellaneous: No polyester clothing, all cotton clothing required. No shorts, tank tops or open-toed shoes allowed. No cell phones or pagers during class hours.


CANCELLATION POLICY: All registrations are non-refundable unless cancellation policy is followed. Cancellations received up to five (5) days prior to the seminar are refundable, minus a $25.00 registration charge. After that, 100% of the registration fee is non-refundable. NO SHOW POLICY: Please note: if you do not cancel within the Cancellation policy above and do not attend, you are still responsible for the full payment amount. Substitutions may be made at any time, as long as the original class attendance amount you committed to is in attendance. TARDINESS: Classes start promptly at 8:00am and ends around 5:00pm, tardiness is not tolerated and will result in dismissal from class. TERMS: To accept this proposal and confirm the training date(s) you must complete and return the enclosed registration form along with the name of the attendee(s) and a company purchase order. If the form is not returned, the date(s) is not confirmed. Proposal valid for thirty (30) days.
